Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents in honor of the town where she grew up. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father came from an ethnically Jewish family. She has also a half-sister named Sunyata Jubal. Ryder's younger sibling is Uria. Ryder along with her whole family relocated to Mendocino, California, when Ryder was seven. Here, they did not have electricity. Ryder became an avid book reader because there was television. In 1983 when she was twelve, Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986, at the age of 15 older. Ryder faced bullying in high school. Her thought was that by becoming an actor her behaviour could be reduced. However, it didn't come to pass. Still, she pursued her dreams. In 1988, the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that gave her her first big break. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in various films. In 1993, he was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
